Love Really is a Drug!

While reading some new RSD related articles today I came about one called “Love really is a drug – and it can work a treat with pain relief.” It starts, of course, with a romantic quote from William Shakespeare and then it goes into a truly fascinating article about how love really is a drug. The study was performed on a few love struck students and they found that the euphoria of a new relationship can override the discomfort of pain. You really have to read to article for yourself, it is honestly one of the best written and most interesting I have read in a while. The article proves how powerful love is. Whether it’s love between a mother and a new born child, a human and animal or two completely wonderstruck teenagers that have just fallen head over heels in love, it can keep you sane through the pain. Today, whenever you need a little bit more to get you through the day, I want you to think about someone or something that means a lot to you. Maybe it will work for you!
